Arrow [R3H4B] ZSNES (SNES emulator) [Class Alpha Controllers]

I use this emulator with a frontend (GameEx); recommended.

[R3H4B] ZSNES (SNES emulator) [Class Alpha Controllers]

Love the profile works great but there's one problem..... The start button won't work in game but the open GUI still does. If I do a quick assignment and hit enter on my keyboard in place of your compound command, start works in game. When I try to apply my key press of enter to your compound command with show GUI the GUI part works but not the enter button for start. I use a wireless 360 controller and have also been having problems trying to assign alt+f4 and alt+enter to my profiles they just don't work. Someone in another post informed me that this is the case because when you pres alt+f4 on your kb windows sends a close app command to the app but when you assign this key combo to a emulation program that call isn't sent by the OS so alt+f4 does not work with pinnacle. This problem has left me scratching my head. Any ideas?

Yes, that's why I recommended using GameEx. There you can define keys which will let GameEx kill the emu. Other frontends can do this too. I currently use XBMC with advancedlauncher without problems...

Hey thanks for the info. Have you tried the Media Browser and gamebrowser plugins for media center that work on 360 I love it and that is what I use to launch my games from within media center and that's why I was wanting a universal quit key so-to-speak. Also I have never heard of GameEX can you provide a link?

Thanks but I don't see a need to use any "frontend". Also what about the central key to power up the controller? Can't they key be binded to anything? If so it could be used to launch & close the emulator.
