I have a wired madcatz 360 controller and windows 7 32-bit and I still got the problem before using the fix.
erm how do i set the d pad to navigate the menu when they are already set to sams controls when you play the game? You can navigate the menu's using the arrow keys. Assign them to the D-pad. Enter is not used in game but can select menu items assign that to A now you don't need to move the mouse cursor to get around menu's. To make sam walk edit your joystick command go to advanced and tick the tilted under 35% box then assign that to Left Shift. That's you done.
Your profile is almost identical to Rehabs Ubi Layout except his is more professional. It is impossible to get a Perfect Config for any game with pinnacle due to varying camera speeds and sensitivity and various other things that cannot be done through pinnacle. Why did you call it a "perfect" profile.

Patch is out to fix controller issues amongst other things
I just googled around and found a ubi forum having the same problem. I found a link to this fix and thought I might as well try it and it worked. However it is just the Xbox 360 Controller Emulator with an edited x360ce.ini.
Splinter Cell Conviction now fully supports the Xbox 360 controller. Full support from Ubisoft came with the latest update(1.02a).
The profile is not working for me and I even tried to map my own and it didn't work. Some of the buttons work and others do nothing or something completely different than the way you mapped them. Please help. Thanks. And I have the newest patch so please help me figure out why it won't work. Oh and it is a wired 360 controller.
