that realy sucks. Ive been there. Fortunately, in my case I had a bios flash fail on an old system that still had an ISA port. there was actualy a realy cool trick where you could plug an ISA video card into the system and that would be enough to get the machine to actualy run, at least enough to load a bootable floppy disk. The catch was that the video card wouldnt actually turn on so there was no picture on screen. Basically, I had to load a flash program and proceed to flash the bios from the floppy disk, going by memory. This was back in DOS days mind you. definatly wasn't fun but I got the system back. Oh the good old days.
