Here is the profile I made for DAO. Here are some notes of interest.

Clicking the right joystick will switch from mouse mode to camera mode.

There are 2 shift keys, one on each trigger.

Ability to select any party member easily and well as full party and anything in between.

All 10 quickslot buttons mapped.

Make sure you look through the layout, There is alot this profile can do.

I would definitely recommended getting the autoloot mod, as well as the auto quickbar swap mod. Both available from http://www.dragonagenexus.com. Put autoloot on your quick bar and it will sent all your characters out to get loot every time you activate it(all without a looting window). Auto quickbar swap gives you 2 quickbars, one for each weapon set.

But i recommend playing this game on Easy its challening enough to play this game on Easy in the PC version and while it is playable i am currently at the dwarves and i only resorted one time to Keyboard / mouse movement because i had some really nasty fights even though i was playing Easy.

Anyways navigating is smoothly done and i enjoyed my time playing Dragon Age with a Joypad it was more enjoyable and it was more relaxing to play it that way.

The controls take a bit of time getting used to but i can safely say that i have played to the dwarven cities and only that one time with the difficult fight was i resorting to Mouse keyboard. i could probably have won with the joypad but it would take considerable longer time to assign all the commands to the players. that way. I am not fully understanding how to play yet but i get the job done either way. So thx for the profile i am using it ^^
