Support Added for ijji games... (Gunbound Revolution)

Hi,
I just want to start of by saying Great Software! Ok so I play some games from ijji. http://gunbound.ijji.com/ currently it says that the Pinnacle software is hack software. It is protected by Nprotect. I know you guys have worked with them before because I am an avid MapleStory player and have read the forums on this topic. Maybe you can get it to work with the games from ijji.

Hmm... I have used Pinnacle with Gunbound before, so I know it was working before (as all nProtect games hopefully should). But I had never heard of ijji before, my Gunbound came from gunbound.softnyx.net, so I did a little google search and according to wikipedia: Softnyx is the south-korea based developer (original Gunbound) and ijji is a California-based North American counterpart.

... Anyway, I tried to test my Gunbound today to see if it's still working with Pinnacle and I got a message that said they were having server trouble and I should try again later... so I didn't get to test to see that it's definitely still working... BUT, one possible reason Pinnacle is not working with your Gunbound could just be that you need the "Launch as persistent profile" setting (my Gunbound requires it since it uses a launcher).

Go to GAME PROFILES > EDIT and then look at the bottom of the screen to see the checkbox for persistent profile, and if it is not already checked then place a checkmark there and then try the game again to see if it works. Please let me know how it turns out!

I started playing another ijji game called KwonHo - the use of Pinnacle however seems to be setting off gamguard.


When I attempt to play KwonHo with Pinnacle running I get a pop up window error stating "Game or Gameguard Modified" and the game closes. Running KwonHo without Pinnacle is normal.

Are you using Pinnacle v4.0 BETA? If not then I suggest you download and update to that because I have heard that MapleStory no longer works with some of the older versions of Pinnacle, but works with Pinnacle v4.0 (that doesn't really make much sense, but apparently is true).

ijji is the service that Gunbound moved to for US/EU players (possibly others too), they offer that along with several other games including GunZ: The Duel. Annoyingly botched game clients that are forcibly prevented from running via the executable, they have to be launched via a "play" button on their website, which ONLY works in Internet Explorer.
