A thought about the "How to Guide"

Note pad is a very good way to test commands. Is it possible to use snap shots in the guides to show what a command will look like when fired?

Since a lot of buttons, like shift,tab,alt,etc.... don't show up in note pad maybe for the sake of "testing" those keys could be substituted with letters and numbers to show what the command would look like "using note pad" when it's configured right.
Sometimes it's as hard to figure out what question to ask as it is to understand the answer

Yea, there have been suggestions like that before but it would be difficult to "test" things if Pinnacle didn't load up the entire program, in which case you could just test in Notepad. You would need a seperate program to detect what keyboard keys were being sent to it.

perhaps adding a test mode to the program where a window opens and outputs a scrolling list of what the controller would be outputting with each action as you try them?

Yea, that's not really possible because Pinnacle has a lot of stuff to load up and the only accurate way to do that is to just test in Notepad where you would get EXACTLY the same result as in your game.
