I'm having trouble importing this .pin file into Pinnacle. When I try to import a configuration, the entire program crashes and when I try to drag and drop the .pin file, the whole program will hang. I'm running the beta in Vista.

At the moment it looks like I can't import any profiles at the moment. I can make my own fine though.

Would turning off/disconnecting your pad before running the game, then turning back on again sort any of these problems out?, doing this worked for Manhunt

That might work, but GTA:SA has a way to disable the gamepad support. It's long and time consuming since you have to remove each assignment seperately in the options screen... which is a very weird and ackward setup screen. But luckily I already did all that stuff and put my options file in the zip with the profile, so you can just drop that file into your GTA folder and it will give you the same options that I use (and were intended for the profile).

    Hi

This might be a simple question. I'm trying to use this profile with my new Joytech Neo S controller. It's got a very similar layout to a XBOX 360 controller.

When I import the game profile into PGP, it sets up a new device "XBOX 360, Playstation 2 and Similar devices", and sticks the profile under there. However there's not much I can do with it, because my device is recognised by PGP as JoyTech neo-s gamepad.

Is there any way I can easily copy the configuration straight across, or any other workaround?

    Thanks

I have installed san andreas and just installed the SAAC but when ever i try to run the game with SAAC the game crashes, it doesnt even get to the opening sequence, i tried loading the SAAC after starting the game and it just causes the game to crash, i cannot get the xbox 360 controls to work as i would like at all, iv tried the xbcd, that didnt help either, any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner... but I think you need to update to Pinnacle v4.0 here...

Some versions of GTA:SA are not compatible with SAAC, so in that case you'll need to use the no-saac profile...

Woud it stand to reason that now that we don't need SAAC to run GTA: SA... could this same Pinnacle profile also work with GTA: 3 AND VC?

I would really like to purchase these other 2 becaause the look like absolute poop on the Xbox version.

Well this non-SAAC profile is something that I spent several days working on trying to get just right and involved really changing a lot of settings which is why you have to copy my gta_sa.set file to your system to give you the right settings. So, no... not really, this doesn't mean it's compatible in any way with the others. I don't have GTA3 or VC (well on PS2 I do), so I have no way to really know what would need to be done there. Maybe there is a gta_vc.set file that is similiar, but maybe not, and either way I don't have the game to setup myself... it sounds like you don't either though. Otherwise I would be happy to try to explain what to do, but without the game I can't try to make the profile and I really don't have much time to make profiles now especially if it were to take all the time and testing that this san andreas profile took.
