Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

For those that are having problems getting pinnacle and steam to work then all you need is to have the profile loaded, edit the launch pathway to your steam exe (see the tutorial if needed) and go. Unlike all non-steam games Pinnacle is not going to launch this one for you but having it running the right profile, minimise the programme and then launch the game from your start menu works for me.

Shant - thank you for giving me my PC game back Whatever Muppet in Infinity Ward decided that an Xbox controller was not even an option for a PC (hell, they had to map the game for the 360 so what hardship?) deserves to be shot and now I have the ability to aim and fire at them

Ok guys - another newbie question here from a newbie (so sue me) I try to modify this game profile and the controls do not work. Shant has it mapped to the old-school Xbox as far as I know and that's fine with me but I use quick assignment as the rest is too complex/I'm a guy and have never been arsed to need to use it before. How can I change the controls to ensure they work?

Profile works great thanks. Just a little warning though; at the very end of the game there is a point where you need to tap the 'F' button repeatedly, however it has been mapped to a long hold of the controller's 'X' button, making it impossible. Not a biggee for me as I had my keyboard to hand, but for some it might be worth remapping that particular control.

To install:
1. Open Pinnacle Game Profiler
2. On the top right of the window click "Game Profiles"
3. On the right side of that window click "Import"
4. Locate the *.pin file and click "Open"
5. Locate the executable file, mine is located at "c:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/call of duty modern warfare 2/iw4sp.exe", and click "Ok"
6. Click "Import"
7. Click "Ok"
8. Close the "Game Profiles" window
9. Click on "Preferences"
10. In "General" check "Run this background background profile when otherwise inactive" and select the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 profile

This is only for the single player app, you will have to do the same for the multiplayer exe. This might not be the most efficient way to do this, but its how I did it and it works...so yea...

i cannot use th efile that i downloaded and when i try to find the steam iw4sp.exe i cant find it. i set up my own profile everything works great except for shooting and aiming lol can you help me?

remember my question to you, following solution: you have to change the function for right mouse button in the games controller menue from "aim down the sight" to "hold aim down the sight".

Hi guys, thanks for the profile, its such a time saver! But i'm having a problem which someone else already mentioned without getting a response.
Everything works perfectly but the actions mapped to the triggers (using xbox 360 wired controller) simply don't work. I can randomly aim down the sights (mapped to left trigger) but the attack action (mapped to right trigger) just doesn't work at all. Its my first time using pinnacle so i don't even know where to begin modifying.

What am i doing wrong?

Try going into the game's options menu and "restore defaults" to ensure everything matches up with the profile you downloaded. Also you might need to go to PREFERENCES > DEVICE SETTINGS > ADVANCED and click the "show wizard" link at the top of the window... follow the on-screen instructions of the wizard and make sure the green dots are moving in the correct directions on the wizard's test screens.

Well, here it is, using Rob's template for COD 5. I'm only at the very beginning so I haven't had a chance to test every single command, but 80% of it is tested and it's flawless thus far. Works just like the console version of COD 4.

I hate to be a bother and look like a newbie (which, I am in this case), but could someone help me out?

I'm just downloaded the above "Profile A.pin", for COD:MW2 and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it?

I'm sure I insert it somewhere in the backend of the game, but I have no idea where.

Can someone please tell me (with normal installation through a d/led version from steam of COD:MW2) what the heck I do with the file once downloaded?

Please be as specific as possible as I don't want to screw up the entire game, as I've waited for three days now with the inability to play the game with anything else other than a keyboard and mouse, and don't want to mess it up further.

Anyhow, any help would be greatly appreciated!
