Thief Gold and Euthanasia

Thief Gold profile with most commands available with the exception of some movement which is solely mapped to the mouse and WASD. Not all commands can fit on the controller but they are all included so anyone can tweak them how they want them. I use a Logitech F710 emulating a XBOX 360 controller. Euthanasia is an FPS indie horror game that can be downloaded for free. Great game if you like horror. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Dragon's Lair (Steam, XBOX 360 controller)

Well, it doesn't get any simpler than this, but I figure hey...maybe it'll save somebody the five minutes. :) This is for the Steam version of Dragon's Lair; I've never made or submitted one of these before so I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I made this for an XBOX 360 controller.

Left joystick: Mapped to arrow keys
D-pad: Mapped to arrow keys
Right joystick: Mapped to WASD (does the same thing as the arrow keys)

Back, Start, and "Logo" buttons: Mapped to Esc (to bring up the menu)
All other buttons: Mapped to spacebar (hey, it's the only other button the game uses :P)

It's quite likely that any common newbie mistakes are present in this .pin file, but as far as I can see it should work fine!

Anomaly 2

Seeing as that Anomaly 2 doesn't support controllers right out of the gate (even though menu options suggest it might at a later date) and the original game fully supported controllers, I took it upon myself to create a profile for it.

Some notes:

~ Left stick moves your character
~ Right stick gives you free cursor control
~ I added a nifty rumble feature to the Transform command to convey the lurch you might feel from one of these machines as it transforms
~ The dpad is used to navigate menus and if you hold the A button down it will select menu items. This combination also works on the world map. Nice!
~ The ability keys are mapped to the face buttons in a clockwise pattern starting with ability 1 being on A

Please offer any suggestions for improvement.

Hawken Menu/Browsing Profile

Very basic setup for Hawken, it will function as usual as you set it up in the game (makes it much easier to adjust to the frequent messing around with button assignments they change when updates come around); but hold down the back button and you have access to a whole slew of options to browse the menus. Never again will you have to put the controller down to set up a match or re-launch after dying!

On top of that, after launching the profile, it will also let you browse everything else much easier. While blue-shifted (back button), Right stick is the mouse, A is left click, B is Right Click, Triggers are up and down and shoulder buttons are mouse buttons 4 and 5 (back and forward in windows browsing. Besides keyboard input, you can now access practically anything with just your controller.

Hi there, this is my first attempt at making a profile so I chose that game infamous for its unusual way of control : the mouse wheel control speed, which is very intuitive with a keyboard and mouse but pretty tricky to manage with a gamepad. Most of the profiles here are linking the mouse wheel to the up / down D-Pad, which is, for me, completely non intuitive. So, there's actually a way to fix that. In fact, the game recognizes partially a X360 pad with a little bit of tweaking, and thankfully, it recognizes the left stick. All you have to do first is to go wherever your game is installed, go to "system" and open "SplinterCellUser.ini". Then find the lines "JoyX=" and "JoyY=" and add so it looks like this :

JoyX=Axis aStrafe DeadZone=0.3
JoyY=Axis aForward DeadZone=0.3

Save and close, that's it, you've enabled full analog stick support in the game. To check that, once in game make a new profile (not sure it will work with your current profile), scroll your mouse wheel up so Sam is able to run and you can move around with the stick at your desired speed.

So now it's just a matter of how and what to map on the gamepad. Here it is :

A bit of explanation now ! It's mostly based on the Double Agent layout and the PS3 version of Splinter Cell. Although enabling analog support is a real benefit to move Sam around, it doesn't work with the lock-pick game, so that's why I mapped Up/Left/Down/Right to the D-Pad. You'll have to hold it to use your goggles or quicksave / quickload. I've mapped mouse wheel up to click right stick and mouse wheel down to hold right stick so you're able to zoom in / zoom out easily with your rifle and increasing / decreasing your max speed if you need it (i.e when you begin a level, speed is set to the lowest so you want to click 3 or 4 times to enable max speed). Otherwise I think everything else is pretty much self-explanatory for anyone who already played it on PC.
