Howdy!

I made a profile for Awesomenauts in PGP using the steam quick selection, and after that, installed the Game Hook to Awesomenauts. Pinnacle is running as an administrator, and UAC is completely off. Also, I set the DirectX overrides for the buttons I use to block reading.

However, Awesomenauts still detects both the gamepad itself and the key I assigned to it in PGP. Did I do something wrong, maybe? Or is Awesomenauts made in a way that PGP's Game Hook can't change it (yet)?

Edit: I just read in a post on this forum that newer games have the gamepad controls embedded. I did not know that. But that would explain why it didn't work, I suppose. I'll try to look for a way around. Maybe the gamepad can be disabled from within the game. I did not look much into that, to be honest :P

After using PGP for a few months I just wanted to say how impressed I am with it. Beneath what appears to be a compact, simple program is a really intelligent and elegant bit of programming, which not only confers many useful features, but also a high degree of reliability. It's also great as a game launcher, that integrates all of one's games. It just works...so thanks, Pinnacle!

Hi all, I'm completely new to this. I've tried a couple of profiles and found that they don't quite suit me. As I'm a beginner I decided it would be more realistic to try to edit an existing profile and wondered what the etiquette was regarding this. Do people mind if you edit their work to get it to your liking or is it frowned upon. Also can someone point the way to the best simplified tut. for basic editing or creating profiles or both.
Cheers

I have a Genesis PV44 wireless gamepad. I downloaded profiles from the official site before, but none of them seem to work properly. For example, I'm saving a button (Let's say X. The gamepad has a Playstation pattern) to operate as an A on an xBox 360 interface. I get into the game, and the A acts like an X and every button is out of tune. No matter how many times I try to put them in a a correct order, buttons will act in the same way they did before. I imported three different ImageGuides to check it out and they have exactly the same confused mapping as the game itself. I even created my own commands for every single action in the game! If I want to reload my weapon, I press the desired button on my gamepad and then appropriate one on the keyboard (so it actually translates the pad's signal into keyboard's keys). I used the 360 template and the FPS before. 360 was completely wrong and FPS was working well but it was lacking of some keys. When I customized its mapping, it wasn't working later. I don't know what to do. Please help me :-(.....

Hello guys.
I've tried to find the answer using search, so please don't tell me to use it.
The question is: why pinnacle game profiler won't apply blank or xbox360 profile when I start steam big picture, and how to change it?
I'm not talking about launch game from steam yet, it's just about naked steam big picture.
Pinnacle game profiler still use default windows profile even I make blank or xbox360 profile for steam big picture using shortcut drop.
I've discovered what if I change the name of steam.exe to something different (i.e. stea.exe) and make profile for it, it works. But it's not a solution, if steam will take update stea.exe will not be updated.
And I can't change hook path for steam.exe profile (steam://rungameid/), but can do it for stea.exe (C:\Program Files\Steam\). May be this is a reason?
Thank you.

Hi,

I recently downloaded this program to use my XBOX 360 controller while playing games on Steam. In this particular case, Bioshock 2. I installed the program, went through all the steps, and when I start Bioshock 2, the controller commands don't work. I know its something I am doing so please someone walk me through it since apparently I am missing something. Also, when I try importing profiles, the program just crashes. So if anyone could help me with getting the program to actually work with Steam games and how to stop the crashing when trying to import profiles, would appreciate it.
Thanks!

I have recently run into PGP getting to controllers and then it shuts down.
I would reinstall except there is no clear cut structure to the profiles and image guides to backup.
I have too many custom made profiles to have them disappear.

Looking into 3 different directories of PowerUp there seems to be no profiles directory.
Most of what is visible is dat files.
Which files are the custom ones that I have created?

Has been working great for 6 months!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem Solved by restoring system and then creating a "PGP-Profiles" directory. I then exported all my profiles to that directory.
